Our History

In 1991 Michelle Fontaine together with her father Ken Fontaine incorporated Midagraphics, Inc. Her mother Maria Fontaine named the business after Michelle “MI and Dana “DA” her late son, and they slowly replaced a 40 person commercial art department. The new Macs, scanners and thermal printers forged a new direction for them to run a successful high tech prepress services company for the flexible packaging industry. In 2001 Midagraphics moved into the family owned, privately held converting business, Amgraph Packaging, Inc., where she became the Prepress Manager; she managed the offset, gravure and flexo prepress and tooling procurement, here she thrived and was the integral player that trialed and developed the transition into Gravure Copper Sleeves, a real game changer back in to 2001. After her father’s passing in 2007, Michelle became President of Midagraphics.
