Michelle has a Business Administration degree from Albertus Magnus College.
In 1991 together with her father Ken Fontaine she incorporated Midagraphics, Inc. Her mother Maria Fontaine named the business after Michelle “MI and Dana “DA” her late son, and they slowly replaced a 40 person commercial art department. The new Macs, scanners and thermal printers forged a new direction for them to run a successful high tech prepress services company for the flexible packaging industry. In 2001 Midagraphics moved into the family owned, privately held converting business, Amgraph Packaging, Inc., where she became the Prepress Manager; she managed the offset, gravure and flexo prepress and tooling procurement, here she thrived and was the integral player that trialed and developed the transition into Gravure Copper Sleeves, a real game changer back in to 2001. After her father’s passing in 2007, Michelle became President of Midagraphics. In addition, the last 12 years, her drive for excellence and continuous improvement achievements landed her in the latest role of Continuous Improvement Manager for Amgraph. There she has been able to apply her keen ability to bring the best of breed into the business and maintain her hands on approach while pioneering new technologies to the printing industry.

Doug graduated from RIT’s School of Printing Management and Sciences in 1990. Upon graduation Doug accepted a full time position at Federal Paperboard’s folding carton plant in Versailles, CT. Working mainly as a Graphics Coordinator, Doug procured film, proofs and oversaw platemaking in the plant. A few years later Federal sold their carton division, including three plants, to a new company called Oak Tree Packaging. With the sale Doug transferred employment to Oak Tree and was given the task of setting up and running a prepress division for the three carton plants. The new division processed files, output films, made proofs and stepped flats for Oak Tree and later Caraustar. In 1998 Doug accepted a position with Midagraphics, Inc. in Versailles as Prepress Systems Manager and is still with the company today. Midagraphics is the sister company to Amgraph Packaging Corp. and located inside Amgraph’s flexible packaging plant.
